Research and Support Units

TBMCore

TBMCore is a service unit supported by the University of Bordeaux, the CNRS and Inserm. Since 2011, it has brought together a range of technology platforms open to all academic laboratories in Bordeaux and across France. Some private laboratories also benefit from its services.

The platforms operate thanks to dedicated personnel, either specifically assigned to them or seconded from the research units of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences (SBM) to which the platforms are affiliated. TBMCore also receives regular support from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region for the purchase of cutting-edge and high-performance equipment.

The TBMCore platforms offer advanced technological expertise that research laboratories can rely on. They provide support for both basic and translational biological research at the tissue, cellular, and molecular levels. Depending on the needs, the platforms can either train users or carry out the services on their behalf.
