Professeur Takuya Yamamoto is director of the Center for Intractable Diseases and ImmunoGenomics and project leader of the Laboratory of Precision Immunology, National Institutes of Biomedical Innovation, Health and Nutrition (NIBIOHN) in Osaka, Japan. TY has studied cellular immunology for 20 years and the strategy of his research is to assess immune responses during viral infection or vaccination  using not only clinical samples but also non-human primates (NHPs) as in vivo model.
