Young Scientist Cancer Congress

The postdoc association of the CRCT together with the postdoc organization committee of the GSO is very happy to invite you to the first Young Scientist Cancer Congress, which takes place at the IUCT Toulouse.

Save the date: October 5, 2023.

The congress topic is New research strategies for cancer therapy – from bench to bedside and highlights recent fundamental research results together with new translational applications.

This day will bring together researchers and clinicians from the region of the Canceropole Grand Sud Ouest (GSO), which reunites cancer research institutes and hospitals of the whole south-western France.

We invite postdocs and clinicians to present their work as an oral presentation (Submission until August 3, 2023) or a poster (Submission until September 08, 2023).

Poster presentations are also open to PhD students.

Several prizes for the best presentations will be awarded.Moreover, a “physician corner” will gather clinicians and researchers to discuss potential translational research projects.We have the pleasure to welcome several internationally renowned keynote speakers:

  • Francesco Iorio (Wellcome Sanger Institute, Cambridge / Human Technopole, Milan, Italy)
  • Olivier Delattre (Institut Curie, Paris, France)
  • Manel Esteller (Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute, Barcelona, Spain)

Additionally, we will hear a keynote presentation by Kathryn McGinnis, who is an Associate Editor at Nature Communications.

The registration is mandatory, but free and open to the entire cancer research community: Registration via the GSO website (Until September 08, 2023).
